101 List

I am going to use this blog to keep track of my 101 list as well as anything else that I want to talk about, school, life, work, travel, fun, etc.

The 101 list came from an idea from D, Lolo created one, my sis created one, so I thought I would join up and create one. So I created a 101 list based on the following criteria from Triplux. I probably have some goals on here that others can relate to: save money, lose weight, go on vacation, finish grad school, do some fun craft projects, etc. I looked at other lists, but ultimately chose this list as the top 101. This will be pretty hard for me to complete, but I am going to give it a shot. This list makes it real, so it will be an interesting experience. If you want to create your own list, here is the criteria for it.

The Mission:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
